BJP Rally
These were some sights witnessed in Bangalore on 31st October 2007 during the BJP Rally to pressurize the Governor to invite BJP-JD(S) combine to form the Government which put the traffic in total chaos. I was driving from MG Road towards Raj Bhavan where I asked a Policeman if I could drive past, he said sure madam, 'Democracy". If you can make space, you can drive by:)

Hey how come even in the news there is nothing about JD(S) which staged this show together?!
They don't anymore can show their strength even outside the Vidhaana Soudha?

Yes, the protests used to be outside Vidhana Soudha, near the steps earlier, then they were pushed to opposite Gopala Gowda Circle, which is diagonally opposite Vidhana Soudha. From there, they were moved to near K.R. Circle. Now the protests happen mostly near the Gandhi Statue at the Cubbon Park end of MG Road.
